Rapha Continental Team has been in Canada guided by the ex pro Alex Stieda. Epic as always:
And then my handlebarplans continue. Shoud I go for the same I got now with matching stem, Deda Newton Shallow and Deda Zero100 stem like this:
It has a good bend but maybe is a bit boring and barweight at 256g is not so fun. The more cooler option I found then is the new Dedastandard: Deda 35, or Trentacinque. RHM Dedabend, with internal wires on the top and not meant to tape the top. Looks like this with matching stem:
Carbon fibre handlebar around 210g so better weight and should be on of the stiffest on the market. The thing that is so special and makes me think no is the size. My Deda Newton Shallow with Deda perforated tape is 29mm in diameter on the top. Deda 35 without tape is, as you can understand, 35mm. See the difference here compared to a normal oversize Bontrager bar:
Thought of a 3T Ergonova Team but don’t like that you have to tape the top on the flat section, they should have done like on this Deda 35. The Deda 35 gives me special feelings, cool, new innovation and still classy. A lot cheaper than a integrated handlebar too.
