Some bikes can’t be other then bike of the week, and some people can’t build ”normal” bikes. Like Emanuel Schicher. He had a Scott Scale before if I remember right that has been here too.
A normal Cannondale Scalpel 29 Ultimate with Enve and XTR is 9,9kg with pedals, this bike is 8,455kg. So when people say they got a light and top bike this guy has saved 1,5kg on it. But how?
Tuned the fork, changed the rear damper for a DT X313 Carbon, mounted Acros hydraulic gears with KCNC cassette and Carbon-Ti chainrings. Formula R1 Racing brakes, Schmolke TLO seatpost and handlebar, carbon steerer, Extralite stem, Becker Carbon saddle. And then the coolest things, Bike ahead wheelset with Tufo XC2 tubulars:
