Some brands go towards adventure and sturdier bikes. Others go towards aero and claiming it’s the most important. But a regular roadbike, a clean and simple made to be fast, fun and super agile can be the bike to have. Like a Specialized Tarmac, A Colnago V2-R, Scott Addict, Focus Izalco Max.
And even when a lot of people dislike disc brakes, mostly because of the look and fear of them. But it you tried you will be like me and never want to go back. That’s why Factor upgraded their O2 used by AG2R with disc brakes for us who aren’t into racing and just want to have a super bike:
800g frame with BBright bottom bracket. Thru axles of course so no brake rub and a bit stiffer.
Now let’s hope more and more brands understand the good things with discs and start making bikes with good brakes no matter if it’s adventure, time trialing, aero or just regular fun roadbikes. 🙂
