Drentse 8 van Westerveld

While I felt like a pro this weekend you can watch the pro’s here 🙂 Been testing me today at Aktivitus and I was right about some things and wrong about some, really interesting and thankful for Skoda Cycling Team supporting me 🙂 More on that when I get the results I forgot.

Until then you have to watch the women race from earlier today. Great racing but still no win for Annemiek van Vleuten 😦

Christine Majerus

The women who got me thinking about Oakley Radar EV.

Christine Majerus may be riding for herself on cyclocross but on road she usually helps the other riders in Boels Dolmans. Digging deep to catch a breakaway or setting up Lizzie Deignan in a good position like at last weekends Strade Bianche:

The women behind the star:

She’s a rolemodel for the sport riding with great class and just looking pure race. And when getting her chance she even can outsprint the legend Marianne Vos:

Amalie Dideriksen!!!

One of the worlds best sprinter, Kirsten Wild with help from the best national team seen in Women’s World Championships, The Netherlands got 2nd spot.

They chased down the breakaway, set up a pace with Annemiek van Vleuten that made it hard for many to keep up with and they delivered Wild to just finish it.

But it’s easy to go too hard, too early and from nowhere the 20 year Amalie Dideriksen passed even without electronic gears and aero helmet. Was awesome too see and I recommend everyone to watch the replay and see how a bikerace on a boring track without spectators should be won.

Congratulations Amalie Dideriksen, Denmark and Boels-Dolmans!

1. Amalie Dideriksen – Denmark

2. Kirsten Wild – The Netherlands

3. Lotta Lepistö – Finland

4. Lizzie Deignan – Great Britain
