Finally it happens. Campagnolo showes their Tech Lab prototype brakes for Lotto-Soudal, Astana and Sarto to use in the spring classics 🙂 Both post mount and flat mount:

And both mechanical and EPS:

Looking better than I thought and if you want to know more you can read about them and see more pictures here: Bikerumor

mtb=Zipp, road=Maserati

It starts to get unusual to find a special bike. Everyone has everything and very few tune their bike old school style. There seems to be an solution to buy for everything. But putting Zipp wheels on a mtb, that’s not so common:

Really cool. High profile on mtb is cool, like my friends Gipiemme he had on his Merida some years ago. I’ve been thinking of the opposite to glue roadtires on a mtbrim but the tires didn’t fit to my AX-Lightness rims I had then.

Another cool bike is this Colnago EPS stripped from paint and painted in Maserati blue and made for Campagnolo Eps. Like made for each other with Colnago EPS and Campagnolo EPS 🙂 7030g:

Campagnolo is so Italian, new prototype groupset

No matter how much Shimano and Sram tries they never can be like Campagnolo. Campagnolo got cool shapes:

Campagnolo can show Shimano how a sleek looking carbon fibre 4-bolt crank should look like:

Campagnolo still thinks carbon fibre is the coolest:

(yes, it looks like a Shimano derailleur)

Campagnolo prototypes is showed on the latest italian bike with classic bent handlebar and one of the most beautiful wheelsets with a name that makes cyclists drool:

So anyone knows more about this beautiful parts?

eLECT, Lemond and Vandeyk

A video showing how Maguras eLECT is working:

And Greg Lemond is back in the bike industry. No more Trek, no more asia. The producer for his new brand is Time in France. So now if you want a lovely Time but another brand it’s possible:

More pictures on these first frames and info here: Bikerumor

And ending the post with a beautiful video for Vandeyk (or maybe Assos 😉

Colnago + lovely pictures

Colnago will be the bikes to cross the finish lines first next year too. Nathalie Schneitter signed a new 2 year contract with Colnago-Südtirol and they still have Thomas Voeckler and Eva Lechner. But not just those, they are getting company by the owner of this beauty:

Colnago K-Zero special Ferrari made for the F1driver Fernando Alonso. Colnago and Ferrari goes forward with their teamwork and it looks so gorgeous. Will show better pictures when I see them.

Until then there is a successful photographer called Emily Maye that knows how to take photos at a bike race. Watch here pictures from Louisville day 2 CXrace two days ago here: Emily Maye
