A new day for the Swedish mtbikers today and what a day. Jenny Rissveds won the World Championships!
Maybe she told Nino Schurter about how to do it because he won the Men Elite afterwards. A good day for Scott, not as good as I hoped for BMC.

Really worth a look. A barcamera from the first lap from the test event in Rio last weekend. What do you think about the course?
And Christoph Sauser’s last race as a pro:

Now the videos from the past weekend starts to come up. Start with the biggest. Jaroslav Kulhavy winning on home soil should be pretty fun, and on what seems to be the World Cup with most spectators:
And Multivan Merida with Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjå getting a 2nd place after Jolanda Neff:
First World Cup of the year is finished and what a start. Many good riders and good fights. Jolanda Neff was in the lead together with the 20 (!) years older Gunn-Rita Dahl Flesjå but took the win. Annika Langvad had some problems with wet rocks and crashed more than she hoped for loosing 3rd place to Pauline Ferrand Prevot and on last lap Catharine Pendrel. A funny thing is that everyone except Gunn-Rita on the podium is world champions in different cycling disciplines now 😉
Men elite got as excited with Jaroslav Kulhavy back in shape. Really impressed by him yesterday and even taking the win in front of Nino Schurter. Julien Absalon never reached them so ended 3rd:
Thought of sharing some videos from the World Cup in Nove Mesto na Morave with you yesterday but Jenny’s win was more important. So today some hours before the start.
Cannondale Factory Racing intro:
Cannondale Factory Racing rides a lap:
And a preview with Specialized Racing:
Who will win today? Langvad and Absalon?
An emotional day at Cape Epic yesterday when Annika Langvad had birthday and it was the last race of Christoph Sausers impressive career:
I’ve heard some rumors about what Sauser will do now and if they are correct he won’t disappear from the cycling scene 😀 Let’s hope they are correct and he will be in to lift the sport even more.
Sauser back in a Evade helmet (why changing between Prevail and Evade?) and Kulhavy seems to have no problems just push on 😉 If you want to be as cool as Sauser and Kulhavy and help the people in South Africa, then you should buy a bike from them. Their special Cape Epic bikes will be auctioned out on Songo.info after the race. Seemed like a good day today for Specialized Racing:
and I used my new Oakleys on my way to and from work today. New Oakley Radarlock that I won earlier, works pretty good riding asphalt without prescription 😉
Now time to prepare for tomorrow. First race coming up 😀 😀
