Il Lombardia

Today I sent this beauty away for storage and to become the 2nd roadbike in my life. It won’t be used as much as before but it’s too good to sell and loose money on:

My Allez is the bike I’ve ridden most of all bikes I’ve had. It’s the bike I can jump on and feel like home and be able to ride for 7h without a thought. It’s been to Belgium, France, Denmark, Norway and many places in Sweden. It’s been used for more than 6500km. It has been awesome and I hope it will bring me many kilometers more when I’m around Jönköping visiting my dad and friends.

But I’ve tried better bikes and next years bike will be better and hopefully go even further bringing more smiles to my and others lifes. A bike that handles as good as Vincenzo Nibali’s bike did on todays Il Lombardia. Watch the last 17,5km here and enjoy the great action:

The winners of yesterday

My favorite women road team is Boels-Dolmans, like a womens version of Etixx-Quick Step and super great one day race team. So got happy yesterday when Lizzie Armitstead won in front of the world champion at the World Cup Trofeo Binda:

And then watched the superhard race in Belgium, Gent – Wevelgem where you can see some videos from here: Peloton

The best helper in the peloton got a win, the guy who has been racing for many victories this year but never won. Yesterday Luca Paolini showed he’s fast and can win no matter age (older than you Camilla) and became the oldest winner of Gent-Wevelgem at 38 years:

Tobias Ludvigsson @ Giro d’Italia

What a stage today. It’s very fun to see someone you know ride Giro d’Italia, but to see someone you know, in his second season at Pro Tour and first Grand Tour step up and show everyone that he’s dangerous is something else. Today Tobias Ludvigsson was in a breakaway and it held, for some riders. Tobias fought well but hard in the end, ended 4th and did an awesome stage! Love it and like he talked about the last times I met him: ”Living the dream”.

Results by the man himself and last picture by Eskil Laago. If you in some way missed it like I almost did when the connection in church wasn’t the best you can see some good and bad (Kessiakoff crashed) highlights:
