No matter how much I write here about women cycling it will only be a small thing that no one notices. It’s strange. Sweden got one of the best women cyclists in the world, always there for the win. But never in Swedish TV, Emma Johansson should be the cyclist to show on TV, don’t have a male cyclist close to her but they even send races without Swedes on TV. Strange.
On mtb we have had a World Champion and World Cup winner. Got two swedes that feels they failed when they missed the podium. But no one knows about Alexandra Engen and Jenny Rissveds except if you’re really into cycling.
I think we should show and share what’s best and the ones who does the best results no matter of gender. It should depend on result, not on gender in sports.

Are you following the big start of the XCO season? Matthias Wengelin show Jaroslav Kulhavy how to race and earn a spot in Specialized Racing Team. Riders with new teams and kits. Jolanda Neff and Pauline Ferrand Prevot seems to not be in top shape like last year. After the first 2 stages of this weekends stage race Fabian Giger and Annika Langvad is leading. Langvad won the 55km point to point race yesterday with over 4min to Neff. Here is a couple of videos from Ghost Factory Racing Team with Lisi Osl:

Nytt år, nya cyklar, nya team, nya cyklister, gamla cyklister. Vilka kommer bli bäst i år?
Topeak-Ergon Racing Team kommer gå över ifrån Rotwild, Schmolke och i USA Thomson till Canyonramar och Ritchey Superlogic styren, stammar och sadelstolpar. Trist för lilla mer eller mindre okända Rotwild och för grymma Schmolke.
Sabine Spitz lämnar Ghost och tar med sig Central Pro Team. Central Haibike Pro Team numera:
I stort sett likadan spec på cyklarna som förra året men med Haibikeramar istället. Med i teamet är också vane Haibikecyklisten Tereza Huriková, Elisabeth Brandau och Kathrin Stirnemann som nästan är lika snabb som Alexandra Engen.
7,5kg ht och 8,1kg fs kan verka hårt för konkurrenterna, men de finns värre.
Ghost har efter Sabine Spitz bortfall anställt europamästarinnan Katrin Leumann och tyska juniormästarinnan Johanna Techt. Kvar är Anja Gradl och Mona Eiberweiser. Givetvis är även en av världscupens lättaste cyklister som har tagit hem världscupen de 2 senaste åren, Elisabeth Osl. Tillsammans bildar de de nya Ghost Factory Racing Team. Nästan lika fint namn som Cannondale Factory Racing.
De verkar även utklassa Central Haibike Pro Team och alla andra team i världscupen. De har spons av AX-Lightness som ni kan se på bilden här ovanför med Anja Gradl och Ghosts RT Lector Pro Team. De kommer köra med fälgar, flaskställ, sadelstolpar, sadlar, styren och styrstammar ifrån mitt drömmärke AX-Lightness. Tune nav, styrlager, sadelklämmor och barends. Kanske även Tune sadelstolpe och sadel beroende på smak. Toppa det med Sram XX och SID XX WCgaffel, förutom vevparti. Blir Tune Smartfoot eller AX-Lightness Morpheus, måste ju lätta Osls cykel som kört med Clavicula innan. Lisi Osl här med världscupens lättaste tävlingskit:
När hon får ett Morpheusvevparti och en fin hardtail som hon brukar köra på lär de andra få slita. Schwalbe tubdäck blir det med, fint med fler med tub. Ska bli grymt kul att se de visa att ww-grejjerna inte bara håller att tävla på utan även är grymt snabba. 😀
