Girona

Instead of being in Stockholm when the first snow came I managed to get what can be the last warm (Swedish thinking) week in Girona. Met Karim who went back to Stockholm the day after I arrived and my nice friend Therese. Got to talk to cool people like Aviv, Connie and Kati. And I got some beautiful rides in a landscape where you can get everything. Did ride some nice climbs but no steep ones, just flowy where I could get a good rhythm and which ended in a tricky tight descend. Not sure if the descends where hard or if just was a coward and slow… Anyway, riding awesome roads in a nice landscape when it’s how enough to take of arm- and kneewarmers after a while feels like a luxury. I think I will be back, missed a couple of great routes I heard. Here is some random pictures from my trip:

And my Diverge did work awesome for this, a good friend I want to do many trips with 🙂

3T Exploro

GT was early massproducing gravelbikes like their Grade. Specialized got the awesome Diverge which I totally love. Open released their Up that took bigger tires and they talked about 650b. Cannondale came with their Slate with 650b and Lefty.

Adventure bikes for people who wants to ride faster than a travelers bike like Specialized Awol or something like that. High end for all types of roads and with more roadgeometry compared to a cyclocross.

3T is the latest with their Aero Gravelbike called Exploro. Looks like a mix between Open and Cervelo in a way. Some techs here:

and a video that made me want to ride my Diverge on roads never seen before. Thinking of my friends Hagen and Martin and back to Dalsland Runt 😉

What do you think about it? Do you got or want a Gravelbike?

BH G7

I’m not an aerofan but I do understand the aero advantage. And I like bikes like Storck Aernario (I know it doesn’t look so aero). Usually aero bikes got brakes that has less drag than braking power but the future seems to get it all. Aero and good brakes, will they be comfortable enough for Paris-Roubaix soon too?

Anyway, BH upgraded their aero G6 to a G7. The biggest change is the discbrakes

As it is new for 2016 it of course got 12mm axles front and rear too. You don’t want it to flex when you go fast, do you?

BB386 like usual for BH. I’m not such big fan of it but probably good if you got the right crankset. Clean aerobike with the only thing that looks cheap and in the wrong place is the stem 😉
