Cannondale got their Synapse.
Trek got their Domane.
Specialized got their Roubaix.
Three of the biggest brand got a discversion of their comfort line. But if we look at their race line up it’s not so many brands who got their most race oriented bike with discs.
Specialized with their Tarmac.
Pinarello with their F8.
But now comes one more. Scott puts discs on their racemodel Addict:
And it’s with new standards. 12×100 thru axle in front and a huge 12×142 in the rear. Doesn’t understand why they don’t go with 135 in the rear like Specialized but. As other Shimanoloving bike brand they also got the new flatmount calipermounting.
The bike for 2016 that looks the same but isn’t (I hope) is the Addict CX, really like this colour and spec 🙂

So will you change for discs?
Trek joins Cannondale with a super comfortable disc braked road bike. In black with Shimano Dura-Ace 9070 Di2.
Using a 15mm in front and 12×142 in rear makes it possible to use the wheels on your mtb too. Convertible to 9mm rear with Trek’s Closed Convert system, same as on the mountainbikes:
Great racing today with ”wrong” winners. The best/smartest won but not those I hoped for, except in Nalles maybe.
Ronde van Vlaanderen:
1. Ellen van Dijk – Boels-Dolmans
2. Lizzie Armitstead – Boels-Dolmans
3. Emma Johansson – Orica-AIS
1. Fabian Cancellara – Trek Factory
2. Greg van Avermaet – BMC
3. Sep Vanmercke – Belkin
Was hoping for Emma Johansson but Boels-Dolmans got a super team and van Dijk went solo the last part, strong women that is hard to beat. Of the men I’m always hoping for Zdenek Stybar but not even top 10 today. Should have been in the last breakaway instead of Stijn Vandenbergh but can’t always go as I want 😉 Alexander Kristoff managed to get 5th with a strong chase in the end without and with Niki Terpstra.
Then it was mtb race in Nalles, Italy. And BMC Cup in Switzerland where Jolanda Neff won.
1. Katrin Leumann – Ghost Factory Racing Team
2. Alexandra Engen – Ghost Factory RacingTeam
1. Manuel Fumic – Cannondale Factory Racing
2. Marco Aurelio Fontana – Cannondale Factory Racing
My two favorite mtbteams in top 2 is really nice, should keep it like that but change the womens results to Engen first and Leumann second ;).
